“Select Names†box doesn't display in order I want (For e-mail ad.

When writing e-mails, I like my “Select Names†box to list the names by last
name first. I can’t figure out how to get it to display that way (it is
giving first name, and then last name). Before my computer crashed, I had it
with last name and then first name. If I could set it to “display name,†that
would be perfect.

Any ideas how to change this?

Dear Russ,

I did that, changing each of my folders---they are still displaying the old
way.

You are a genius. thanks for all your help. Another question---I am unable
to hit a letter on my keyboard to get my selector to go to that letter in my
inbox messages (it works in deleted; sent; etc. I can't figure out what I
did to stymie that option.

I've never found that to be a useful feature. By what field are you trying
to select a message in the Inbox?
