suddenly appears in Signature

Hello,

I have a problem with Outlook 2000. I had a signature
working well for a while. I then created a new signature.
After that, when I create a new message, the symbol
appeared. I can remove it, but it is an annoyance. I
tried removing the signatures and creating it again. I
also tried removing office 20002 and installing it again
to no avail. If anyone has ran into this problem and has
any tips or solutions, please reply back. Thank you.
