'03 office outlook will not run in new vista operating sys

'03 professional edition '03/upon opening it says must be online or
connected/unable to open default email/the info store could not be
opened/then just closes

You might want to add a little more information on what you did here. For
instance; is this a clean install or after an upgrade to Windows Vista? For
what account type did you configure Outlook? Sounds like you did it for an
Exchange server.
