Hello, I am working with a client who recently converted from '03 to
'07. When the data on some projects came over, the work count changed
from flat to contoured. The oddity, is that if you insert the work
contour column, it is blank for every entry. The only way to see that
it is contoured is to go into Task Usage and click on the specific
resource, in the dialog box for work contour it indicates: Contoured.
With this in mind, the project file says that resource Mark King needs
to work on a task for 4 hours. The MS Project file says that the
resource worked on the task for
2 hours on August 11,
..5 hours on Oct 16
1.5 hours on Oct 17
On project Server, it is showing the resource worked
1.78 h on Aug 11
and
..22 hours Aug 12
Now the kicker. For the same resource on the same project, other
tasks came over just fine, with the default flat contour.
Any ideas on how this was caused, and how to remedy? Can I set the
task back to 0% complete, Publish, then go in and complete the tasks,
2 hrs on Aug 11 , two hrs on Oct 16 Publish.?
