I'm having trouble opening an older pp presentation in '08. Are there any go-arounds?

I'm having trouble opening an older pp presentation in '08. Are there any go-arounds?

How old an older presentation? Any idea (there's no easy way to tell just from the
file, I realize).

After a point, MS does drop support for older versions.

If you (or someone who's willing to help) have, say, PPT 2001, you might try opening
the file there. If that works, do a Save As and give it a new name. You might be able
to open the newly saved file in 2008.
