"0x80040E14" Error message in the Spooler

Hello,
What could be the cause of the error message : "0x80040e14" in the spooler.
The resources don't receive their new assignments.
The project manager doesn't receive the resources timesheets.
The KB889500 is not applicable (no event log)

If you search this discussion board for 0x80040e14, there's a posting with a
suggestion to save the project as a file and then import it back in. He
doesn't mention deleting the original off the server first. There's another
post regarding clearing up inactive resources. We have one spooler error
nothing has worked on--we're down to waiting for the overhead project to
expire at the end of the fiscal year.
