0x800a13bd error when connecting to project 2007 server

Hi there,

I have a freshly installed Project Server 2007 and when I am trying to
connect to it with the client of the same version I get the 0x800a13bd
error.

I read, that such an error comes up, when connecting with Winproj12 to
winproj11 server, but this is a different story, as the server is of
the same version. And it is not an upgrade from the earlier version -
its a new installation.

Any ideas how to fix it?

I managed to find the cause of the problem.

Make sure, when you are configuring an enterprise connection in the
Office Project, that you are entered the correct Project Web Access
url, like http://server:port/pwa, not just http://server:port
