This is driving me CRAZY!!
I am unable to send mail from Outlook03 since last Thursday and of course,
AT&T is saying it's Microsoft's issue!
I get 0x800ccc78 error - 553 From: address not verified....but it has been
(I'm using my company e-mail addy to send/receive from).
I've got everything set up like they say it has to be....SMTP port #465
w/SSL checked. using smtp.att.yahoo.com for SMTP server. logging on using
secured password verification. using the @att.net in my user name.
From my research, if using Outlook03, I need to have SP3 installed.....I do.
I was on the phone with AT&% 2nd tier support yesterday for 57 minutes and
found out THEY were restricting port 25, which will affect/deny/control 3rd
party e-mails for spam purposes. They opened the port, I rebooted the modem
and that was supposed to clear up the problem....it didn't.
I found another suggestion on this site that I may have some stuck read
receipts and sure enough I did have one that I deleted but that didn't fix
the send issue.
I'm out of options....does anyone have any other suggestions??
