I set a hard deny to creatiung accounts from anywhere other then the ERP.

Why does this system continue to try and add local resources to my ERP?

Is this a known bug, will I become happier with 2007?

can I make 'none' the default value for workgroup?

Problem here is PMs will not go through the motions to define their
resources correctly

I've tried...

Any idea why resources are still loading into PWA as a Project Server
Authenticated account?
How am I ever going to keep control of the user list in PWA with this kind
of activity?

If you have the create accounts capability disable, they won't load into
Project Server. the 0x8c040017 error indicates that this setting is
correct.Bottom line is you need to train your users how to handle local
resources.

Gary,

I hope you know that you have an open invitation to present to the San
Francisco MPUG any details of your spanking machine.

We have a few of our own that we are very proud of, and would be happy
to share.

Mark:

How about "Better project management through corporate spanking" as a topic?

How about creating a small macro in your global that goes through and
changes workgroup to "None" for all local resources. This can assigned to
happen after the proejct save event. That way, when they publish (which
forces a save first) the workgroup would change to "None" for local
resources and would prevent the spooler error from occurring on the publish.

Just a thought.
