1/4-Sheets 8-up on 11x17

I'm using MS Publisher.

My customer's file is a 1/4-sheet (5.5x4.25) and I want to print it
to our digital copier.

I can get 4-up on Letter (8.5x11), but when I go to 11x17 (Tabloid),
Publisher wants to set it 6-up with gutters.

Is there a way to go to 8-up on 11x17?

Budget Print Center

Goto page setop & check landscape under your special size settings. in print
you may have to customize gutters to zero

page options in you print dialog box, custom options-margins to zero hope
this does it for you.

I tried all that for hours. When I select Landscape or Portriat
Publisher changes the orientation of the postcard to match so I can
only get 6-up.

Neither is any other program perfect. However, Publisher and page setup
sizes has never ever been a problem.

You need to remember, that Publisher is married to the printer driver, and
if your printer driver is not well written and does not cooperate properly,
your page setup in Publisher may not behave just as easily as it should. In
that case, change your printer driver settings manually first.

off the fact that publisher is still crap in a profesional prepress
enviroment? its ok that you choose to use insults, i have been known to do
the same in my youth.)

p.s. i left the spelling errors so you have something else to take the focus
off how bad publisher sux.

Joe only crap for your poorly educated inexperienced backyard half baked
printers.

Don't worry Joe, stick around you will learn a few things that will help set
you on your way to knowing something about printing.

Serif have a good pack available for sale called the 'Pro Printing Pack'
which should help you on your way.
