1+ pages per view

Someone recently sent me a Word XP file. When I view it in PRINT LAYOUT the
way it came, at 50% Zoom, I can see two pages side by side all the way down
to the bottom of the monitor. If I decrease the Zoom numerically (down to
25%), I can see Five pages across my monitor. If I increase the Zoom to
75%, I can only see one page and that is what I am used to seeing.

What setting is going on here that is allowing this? When I change the Zoom
on my documents, they get bigger or smaller, but only one per screen.

Is it possible you are in the "print preview" mode? This shows multiple
page view, but you cannot edit the document unless you close print preview.

No, it is definitely in the PRINT LAYOUT view.

This sounds like the "Many pages" feature is turned on. Go to View | Zoom.
For single page zoom, select a percentage, otherwise select "Many pages".

Thank you, Mary and Rick. I have never been into the Zoom to see that
option being available. I am now able to view the document the way in the
more standard way.

Thanks again.
