10% Random Inventory

I am fairly new to Access but I am trying to generate a listing via a query
to get 10% of the items of the query for a physical inventory.

The query pulls out the records that have not been inventoried to date.
From this listing I have one field ([New GP Number]) that is set as the
primary key allowing no duplicates. What I would like to do is pull 10% of
this field along with information and use the query in a report for use as my
basis for the 10%.

Any assistance you can give me with this would be greatly appreciated.

Try this --
SELECT TOP 10 PERCENT Rnd(([New GP Number]) AS MtList, *
FROM YourTable
ORDER BY Rnd(([New GP Number]);
