100% complete tasks starting after todays date

[confused]

Hi,

Im quite new to ms project and am trying to track work.
I am doing the following:
1) project ->project information and change the status date to today
2) Update the status of tasks (using %complete)
3) tools->tracking->update project, reschedule uncompleted work to start
after today for entire project
4) level resources from today

However, tasks which 100 % complete appear as starting after today. anyone
know why this is happeneing?

Hi,

If they were planned after today setting them 100% complete leaves them
there and no leveling will move them.
