11.2.6 Update...?

S

Slipface

What can I do to get to the download? I've tried everything I can think of.

Open one of the Office apps and select Help > Check for Updates from
the menus.

I was able to install the update just fine, but all my version numbers
in the Finder are the same as before. The "Microsoft Component Plugin"
file is at v 11.2.6, however. I guess that's all the updater changes?

Same experience as Dennis: only change I can find is Microsoft Component
Plugin version #.

It's supposed to fix some security holes in PowerPoint, but I don't know if
that updates PPT itself or some other file. In the previous version
(11.2.5), PPT was at 11.2.4 - where is it now? (I haven't done the update
yet.) You'd need to check all the files in the Office subfolder too -
nothing but Microsoft Component Plugin (which just keeps track of the
version, as far as I know) is at 11.2.6?

OK, I just did the update. As you run it it tells you it's updating 2 files,
and names them: Microsoft Component Plugin, yes, and also Microsoft Office,
which is a shared library file in the Office subfolder. If you check it,
you'll see that it's now at 11.2.6: that's what got updated.
