11.5.5 update doesn't install on entourage (but does for word, powerpoint, excel)

Okay...so I'm a computer idiot...so please keep explanations pretty basic...thanks!

I'm wanting to sync my iphone with entourage but it doesn't seem to work. Then I realised I needed to get the 11.5.5 update to do this (currently my entourage is 11.4.0)...

So I download the update...and it updates all other office programmes (e.g. word, powerpoint, excel) but not entourage.

Any ideas why not and how can I fix it?

I really want to be able to sync my iphone with entourage without having to go through the address book programme...which totally stuffs up my contact information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!

Sync Services were introduced with 11.3.2.

So I download the update...and it updates all other office programmes (e.g.

Microsoft does not update each application every time an update is released.

Sync Services does not actually sync via an application. It syncs to a
database called the Truth.
