Hello,

I have seen that there are more than 12000 new events in my entourage calendar
on april 9. I'am not able to delete them, because it takes a so much time tot
delete them one by one. I also hardly can exchance the calendr items.
I have all the events (except these new events) on my iPhone.

what can i do to get rid of them?

Without addressing the possible reasons why you suddenly have
12,000 new events on your calendar on April 9, you can
delete the events by switching the calendar view and
using a custom saved search, as follows:

1. Display the Calendar view (Command+3).
2. On the folder pane at left, click Calendar Views.
3. Do a Control-clikck/right-click on an empty space in
the right-hand pane, and click "New Saved Search".
You should see a criteria menu bar appear.
4. If the items you want to delete all have the same
name, you can select "Item Contains" and type in the name.
If not, you'll have to select "Start Date"-"Less Than"
and type the number of days back to April 9 plus one day
(yeah, this is lame, I know, but this is a limitation of Entourage);
click the plus sign to add another criteria item, and
select "Start Date"-"Greater Than" and type the number
of days between today and April 9, minus one day.
5. You should now see only the items that you want to delete
in this view. Scroll to make sure that this is the case.
You can now do a Command+A to select everything in this
view, and hit Delete to remove the offending items.

It goes without saying: be careful when mass-deleting
items using Command+A. Entourage is very unforgiving when it
comes to undos.
