1603 errors installing Office 2003 patches

I get 1603 errors installing Office 2003 patches. How can I solve this problem?

I have solved the issue. For others who are suffering with this problem: Run
'Help', 'Detect and Repair' in one of the Office products and everything
works fine (if you have the same problem)
