1904 versus 1900 date system

I read a post on how to change this on a worksheet by worksheet basis, but is there any way to change this so that it applies to all worksheets created going forward?

You should create a workbook template. Check Excel help for: "Control how
workbooks and sheets are created" Make sure that the date setting in the
template is the way you want.
