PA wanting to understand

I understand that Exchange Server only supports SENDING from one email
account. Is there any way round this?
I work for a company that has two subsideries. I have two email address,
i.e. (e-mail address removed) and (e-mail address removed). I need to send from both
accounts - or at least make it look like I am sending from a generic account?
Any ideas very much appreciated.

Assuming that both email addresses are assigned to the same mailbox, then
the only thing I can think of is to setup a dummy POP3/SMTP account that
uses that secondary mail address. You can set the POP3 server name to
localhost and the SMTP server would be the name of your Exchange server.

Assuming that each email is really two mailboxes and that permissions are
set right on exchange, I don't see why you can't send e-mail from that
second mailbox. You can make the "From" field visible by select View > From
or the little down arrow next to Options on toolbar (if Word is your e-mail
editor).
