2 computers different locations. need to share contacts

I have seen several programs that will allow you to sychronize contacts when
both computers are on the same network, or are both conected to the internet.
This will not work for me.

I have a client that needs to share his contact information with a co-worker
in another state. They will not necessarily both be connected to the internet
at the same time so syncing cannot be done computer to computer.

I am guessing that it would be a little program that sits on each computer
that keeps the contacts in sych with a website. that way when the other
person logged on the utility would check on the website, and check it against
the contacts in outlook and sync up.

Does anyone know of this kind of service or program?

any help or direction would be appreciated.
