2 Issues with 2007 Beta

1) When typing a reply to a message, everything seems to hang for about
10-15 seconds at a time....sometimes this happens 5-6 times if I am typing a
paragraph or two.

2) I downloaded the new search. I type something in the search pane, but it
doesn't find anything. Looks like it will be nice if/when it works.

I see that too. Beta software performance is just not up to what a
release version would be like. I don't think there is any other option
than living with it.

Have you let Outlook open for a longer time (several hours, day)?
Indexing takes time and there is no UI to really tell you how much is
still left.

Mine hasn't closed since I downloaded it Sunday. About 48 hours so far.
Is there some way of knowing if it is working "indexing" in the background?
What process will be running?
