2 log -in's to database

I have noticed a "funny" behaviour with my password secured replicas.

I use VB.net and JRO to Access my secured database Acc2000
I am using a workgroup file to protect database, and this works fine.
After every 30 times that the application have been started, it compact the
replica automatically with JRO
When I then open a secured replica by double clicking, it now asks 2 times
for the
ID and password.
Not that it is a big problem in it self, as client is not suposed to access
the database direct, but this "strange" behavior could indicate something
else.

Someone seen this before?
