I have two what I think are strange issues.
1. I send out appts on a regular basis and I have permissions to accept
appts on behalf of several people. Problem - I send an appt to Manager A, B
and C. The appt comes to my mailbox where I can accept on their behalf.
When I open the appt that I just sent, it shows the appt as out of date.
When I click on Accept, it tells me a more recent appt has been sent and if I
accept, it will result with out of date info on the calendar. There is no
more up to date appt; I just sent it. This is creating all types of
headaches with individual calendars and results with out of date info on the
calendars. I've asked my IT group to look into it but they have absolutely
no idea of why it is happening.
2. A recurring meeting is sent to Manager A and B. The appts come to me b/c
I can accept on their behalf. I open the series of appts and click on
Accept. The appt still shows in their calendar view as Tentative (the blue
lines) yet if I open the individual appt again, it shows that I accepted it.
However, if I open an individual appt of the series and click on Accept, it
then changes to Busy.
Does anyone have any idea on these issues? I am completely frustrated. I
am on Exchange and use Outlook 2003. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
