2 PCS - one LAN - ONE EMAIL ACCOUNT

I now have 2 PCS, running Vista Home Premium and Outlook 2007 through a
WIRED router. As above, we (the missus and I) have ONE email account.

Whichever one is connected first to our email server (either the wife or I)
gets all the email for the day, the other recieves nothing. If I change the
options/setting to retain mail on the Mailserver for a few days on one or
the other of the PCs, the second PC to connect to the MailServer gets ALL
the email for the few days over and over and over... Am I missing something
blindingly obvious in a setting anywhere?

Microsoft has not released a tool to synchronise Outlook on two PCs but
there are plenty of 3rd party vendors who have - some free, some commercial.

See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.asp for a good list of options.

I use OsaSync Pro (US$90 - set it and forget it) which has been excellent so
far and does everything I need.

As an aside...and tks for help to date...one follow-up question...IF my wife
continued to use Outlook 2007 and I configured Windows Mail to be my Mail
client and stopped using OUtlook...would THAT enable us both to receive all
emails irrespective of when either of us opens our respective mail client?
