hello,
I'm having MS Office 2003. In my custom animation taskpane i'm not
getting the window that has effect options like
entrance, exit, emphasis, motionpaths. instead i'm getting the older
version type with "check to animate on the slide objects on the top
right hand side, preview window on the top left hand side, and effect
options, timing ,chart effects and multimedia effects below this. i
want to have the one which i said earlier. i have reinstalled my office
2003 again to rectify this, but no use. plz help me out.

Also i have a second query. i tried to open my slides with office 2000.
but the slides were made with office 2003. when i tried to open it it
asked to enable macros or disable macros. i clicked enable macros. it
opened fine, but when i opened the same slides with system having
office 2003 many slide were blank, but some remained the same. what may
be the problem. is there any way to retain my old slides.
plz help me.
regards,
naveen

but instead i'm getting one of the older version like this below.

You are in the Mac PowerPoint group so you probably want to ask these
kinds of questions in the Windows PowerPoint group
(microsoft.public.powerpoint).

You have set your PowerPoint 2003 to Disable New Features (which is a
good thing if you are going back and forth between 2000 and 2003). If you
want to get back to the new interface, go to the Tools menu and choose
Options. Under the Edit Tab, uncheck the three boxes under Disable New
Features.

For your blank slide problem, you need to apply the latest service packs
to PowerPoint 2003. Go to the Help menu and choose Check for Updates.
Then follow the instructions to apply Service Pack 1 and/or 2.
