Hello,
We have Windows XP and Office 2003 in a Network Environment of about 400
users.
1. Permissions question
In Outlook, each user has their own calendar, which was set up by IT when
they created their user account. I created a second calendar in Outlook,
which I named "Department". I then gave Reviewer permissions to all my staff
to view and add/delete items to the Department calendar.
The Department calendar is a place where the entire department can place
information so all our vacation, appointment, meeting, etc., information is
centralized.
If someone outside our department sends an appointment invitation to someone
in my department, can they also send an appointment invitation to my
"Department" calendar? I know they can send one to my personal calendar; but
what I'd like is when any of my staff that gets an appointment invitation,
that our "Department" calendar gets an appointment invitation also.
Can this be done?
2. Saving messages
I have a lot of folders set up in Outlook and they are pretty full of emails
now after four years. Can I save them offline, for example to a CD?
Many thanks,
Rosemary
