1st Question. If I type "1" into a cell I want to be able to use the fill
handle to drag down the column so that each cell increases by 1. Example
1,2,3,4,5 etc.
2nd Question. I have a spreadsheet that has in one column the number 500 all
the way down to the bottom of the sheet. I have changed it to 00500, which
is what I need but When I click on any of the cells it changes back to 500.
when I come off the cell it goes back to00500.
What can I do to prevent this from changing when I click on the cell.
I have tried copy, paste special and Value but does not help.
Any help would be appreciated Thank you in advance.
