2 slides incl. speaker notes on one page (modify notes master)

Hi there,

is there any possibility to modify in the notes master the page so that 2
slides including speaker notes are on one notes page.

I researched for solutions but none of the search results covers this very
problem. I use MS Power Point 2007.

Many thanks for your help.

Cheers
Hannes

I've found a solution that works for me, hopefully I've listed all of the
steps below:
1 - Go to the notes master view
2 - click on page setup - change the layout from portrait to lanscape,
change the size of the page to 11 and 8
3 - move the preset items for the header, date, footer, page number so they
are NOT on the page otherwise they will print and they are not needed. Don't
just deleate them, some will still print. BTW I keep the page number in the
lower right corner - it helps ensure the student can easily sync with the
presentation.
4 - move the image of the side to the upper left corner. Allow about 1/4
inch border on the left and top - due to a bug in PowerPoint when you modify
anything on the page the image on the notes page will be resized and
enlarged. This setings seems to allow for it.
5 - Move and resize the notes area to the right of the page image. I make
the left edge about 1/4 inch from the page image, the top, bottom and right
edge go to the page boundries. Modify how stuff will print (I change the
spacing for the bullet items for all levels to allow more stuff to print and
elimiate a lot of the white space)
6 - I've installed "Shyam's Toolbox for PowerPoint" (see
http://skp.mvps.org/toolbox/index.htm) to apply the notes master to all pages
(this seems to be another bug in PP). Using the toolbox I apply the new notes
master to all slides.
7 - I've also installed FinePrint which is a virtual printer (see
http://fineprint.com/) and use it as my default printer (both Shaym's toolbox
and FinePrint are necessary for the solution)
8 - Wow after all of that we're almost there - having done all of the above
I now print my notes handout to FinePrint. In FinePrint I select 2-up
(numerous options are avialble), this selection will place two landscape
images on one portrait page. In FinePrint I also add a binding on the left
side of the page, this will provide space to three-hold punch the page. Also
in FinePrint I select duplex and my desired printer (this is my real printer)
and then submit the job to print.

Let me know how it works for you.
