What if the data in the data sheet looked like this:

Where the Start and End columns contain numbers that ar
Alpha-Numeric-Alpha (ana).

Where I now want to find the row match (from the number entered o
Master worksheet).

Examples:
1) Enter a0a on Master sheet - answer is Row 1 (or Class 1)
2) Enter a0b on Master - answer is aslo Row 1/Class 1
3) Enter a8y on master - anser is Class 1
4) Enter a8z on Master - #NA
5) Enter c0a on Master sheet - answer is Row 3/Class 3

and so on.

Actually, what I want is the row number the answer is found betwee
(start/end), not the result, just cell row number.
