2002-Can't import AutoCAD .dwg files

I've received several .dwg files from users to open and I just can't. All I
get is a new/blank sheet and an error message:

visio internal error: #3400
action 1283: open file

Generally that kind of error means that there is something in the file that
Visio cannot handle. In many cases Visio is not able to skip the particular
entity and continue on.
