Hi

Just got a new machine with OL2003 installed. Old machine has OL2002.

Have copied accross the .pst files - and have the emails (phew!)

But how do you take acoss

1. Account settings
2. Address book/contact list.

This is not obvious - nor was .pst - hard to believe that Microsoft doesnt
have a simple click to transfer everthing

Thanks

Bob

1. Account settings

Save My Settings Wizard should work.
2. Address book/contact list.

If you copied your PST, then you've copied your Contacts, since Outlook
keeps everything in the same PST. If you don't see your Contacts folder in
the Address Book, make sure you've enabled the Contacts folder to appear in
the address book. Right-click Contacts, choose Properties, then Outlook
Address Book and check the "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book"
option. You may have to stop and restart Outlook.

Hi Brian

Thanks for the information - tried it - somehow it didn't quite work!

Also needed to get email account information in - Went finally for 'Files
and Settings transfer' Accessories-> in windows - everything went across
painlessly - and worked!

Thanks for your help

Bob
