2003/2002 on same system

Does anyone know if you are supposed to be able to install
Visio 2003 and 2002 at the same time on the same system?
If so, has anyone done this and are there any gotchas to
worry about? Any success stories?
Thanks.

I tried it, the system gets very confused when trying to
switch between the two of them and tries to reinstall the
new selection when changing versions.

I'm currently using Visio 2003 for everyday work and have Visio 2002
installed for use by BizTalk Orchestrations. Both work fine but if you open
Vision 2002 and then try to open Vision 2003 it will attempt to "reinstall"
itself for some reason. It seems to reinstall just fine (I suspect it is
setting a few registry entries related to the .vsd extension) but it is
annoying.

Hi,

Microsoft does not recommed installing more than one version of Visio on
your system. However, if you install Visio 2003 and Visio 2002 together
then there can be some performance issues and issues when launching either
of the editions of Visio.

I hope this information is of help to you,

For testing, I install all Visio (5, 2000 (6.0), MS 2000 (6.1), 2002 ,
2002EA, 2003) on one machine. All works perfectly.
