2003 functions no longer functional in 2007

Where can I obtain a list of 2003 functions that are no longer functional in
2003?

Also, we have a number of templates built in 2003. How do we know if a 2003
formula is no longer functional in 2007? Is there a generic "N/A" or VALUE
populating the cell? Or, ... ?

Thanks, Connie

No Functions have been deprecated AFAIK.

Hi Connie,

If you mean Excel built-in Functions (part of a formula, the ones you can
insert via the fx symbol); I don't think any have been removed.
But some formulas may cause problems; labels (as a sort of undefined names)
are no longer supported; use defined names instead. Defined names can cause
problems if they could also mean a cell address in the extended range of
Excel2007 (names like abc1 or A1000000). I think you get a warning in both
cases.
Is there anything specific you are worried about?

Niek -

Thanks for your insight. I think this is the problem we were having. I
believe the staff were accustomed to using labels in the building of the
formulas.

Thanks, Connie
