2003 - How can I set the default paragraph formatting for replies?

I'm new to Outlook 2003. I notice that when I reply to an e-mail, the
paragraph format's spacing defaults to "Auto" and adds tons of white space
when I hit return. I'd like to set it so the default is "0 pt" but I can't
find where to set this. Help?
