2003 Outlook ignores time to Read and Send

Clamorous

I have Windows Media Center 2005 with Office 2003 including Outlook.
Just the past couple of days Outlook has started to ignore the time
settings for checking my ISP for e-mail, and for sending e-mail. I
have to use the Tools=>Send/Receive=>Send/Receive All in order to get
my e-mail, or have any sent that goes into the Outbox.

I have gone into the Options and verified that the time settings were
still valid. The time value for checking is still set for 5 minutes,
and the "Send immediately when connected" and send/receive every 5
minutes.

The only things that have changed in regards to Outlook is the updates
from Tuesday night.

Any ideas on what I can check?

Thank you

First thing I would do is change your send receive interval to no less than 10 minutes. If that still does not resolve it, then close Outlook and delete the .srs file (or simply rename it) Outlook will create a new one the next time it is opened.
