Is there a way to create folders and shortcuts for additional files other
than the access database. I have a pdf manual for the access database that I
would like to create a short cut for. Also I would like for the program to
show up under a folder on vista like microsoft office does instead of just
the icon and name of the database being listed under all programs. Any help
is appreciated.

In step 4 of the PKW you can add files in the additional files section on the
top of the screen and there you can create sub folders under you current
installation folder. For the shortcuts you might want to look in the MS KB
for an answer to that.

Craig,

I have that in but that does not let me do the shortcut for the file and it
do not know how to put the access and the manual in a separate folder like I
could in Access XP.

You can create your own shortcuts use API calls. See vbnet.mvps.org.

There is likely an API call for that as well. Consider creating a
shortcut on the users desktop instead though. Simpler for the user
to locate.
