2003 to 2007

I exported data from 2003 Outlook Calendar to a disc as a pst file.
I placed the disc in the "D" drive and tried to import this information to
2007 Outlook Caledar but I get the following error message:

D:/File access is denied. You do not have the permission required to acces
the file.

Why is this happening and what do I do? Thank you for you time?

Firstly if you were NOT using Exchange server you should NOT have exported
the data from Outlook - all you needed to do was to close Outlook and copy
the pst file. Exporting in order to use the data in another instance of
Outlook normally causes problems with the data. (This is posted in these
groups on an almost daily basis).
Secondly Outlook needs read/write access to any pst file - CD ROM = CD Read
Only Memory. Copy the pst file from the CD to your HDD (do NOT overwrite any
existing pst file), remove any read-only attribute and then in Outlook do
File-Open-Outlook Data file. Copy (or drag and drop) the data from the old
pst file to the new.
