Hi - I have seen other people report this fault but not real solution - I
have 2007 B2 on 2 PC's and all have been working perfectly well. I have auto
updates on it recommended I added the latest 2003 updates, which I dutifully
completed. BIG MISTAKE!! Nothing worked, major headaches, wouldn't start up,
then wouldn't shut down, wouldn't run anything no matter what i did, couldn't
remove any programs, couldn't install any programs causing me major problems.
After hours of messing about and bad language, its been sorted but no clue
as to why this has happened and whats the quick easy fix for it. Its cost me
hours in business time and there has been no support for it either, along
with no explanation as to how and why it came about in the first place.
I would have thought something was in place for this type of thing happening
- but again would have thought it would not have come about at all with
forward planning.
Anyway, moan over, does anyone have any definitive info on this issue along
with a fix?
