Requirements to get my upgrade:

1.Submit a copy of the dated sales receipt for your Microsoft Office
v. X product (verify that it is legible and includes the
retailer/reseller identify information and the purchase date, which
must fall between January 6th, 2004 and June 30, 2004.
2. Submit the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from the original box
top.

I have #1 but do not have #2. I don't have the box, but I purchased
this from Mac Zone back in mid January. What can I do? Am I toasted?
I only kept the plastic box, there seemed to be no need for the
regular box.

all help is appreciated,

Donovan

The Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from the original box top is needed to
verify you haven't sold it to somebody else and that no one else can use
that same COA to get a free copy of the software. Bummer.

Call MS support and keep your fingers crossed.

If you purchased it from someplace like CompUSA, they keep records of it in
their computers - if you bought something else big with it, like a computer.
I bought an Airport (and warranty) along with mine, so it was listed with
it.
