2004 Themes

I am a middle school history teacher and use PowerPoint all the time for my notes. I like the 2004 themes much better than the 2008. They are more kid-friendly. Is there a way to get them back?

I assume you're referring to the Design Templates from PPt 2004? If so the
answer is Yes. If they're still on your drive or if you have the source
available to restore them they can be used by PPt 2008.

If you move them into your:

~User/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office/User Templates/My Themes

folder they will even appear in the Elements Gallery - Slide Themes as
Custom Themes.
