2007 Administrative Backup / Restore

When I select Administrative restore I see multiple versions of project plans
from which I can select (current setting is to maintain 14 versions!),
however I do not see a similar list for the other components (resource pool,
views, enterprise global etc.). Should I, or does the system only backup one
instance of these values in addition to the current instance?

Follow up:

If only one instance of these components is available for restoring,
presumably these items should be backed up using the administrative backup
rather than scheduled backup (which is the default)
