2007 - any possible way to Delete Administrative Time Categories?

The Delete command is dimmed out for all Admin Time Categories (whether Open
or Closed) - is this because they were used at least once by someone logging
time against them? Is there any other "behind the scenes" way to get rid of
a Category?

Once you create an Administrative time category, you cannot delete it. This
is Microsoft's way of preverving historical time data. Since you cannot
delete unneeded Administrative time categories, simply close them and be
done with it. Hope this helps.
