2007 Backup Enterprise Global

Pre-2007 Enterprise gobal could be backed up to a Global Enterprise .mpt
file. This also permitted one to restore the enterprise using one of these a
..mpt files.

This is no more. Where are the Enterprise Global settings stored when one
does a backup from PWA > Server Settings?

Is it no longer possible to pick and choose the enterprise global.mpt files
restore or load any more?

Yip quite true there. What i have done is :

1. Open a blank new project
2. Save it as a file and select the all enterprize objects when it
prompts you to select what amount of enterprize details you want to
save
3. Then if you would like to restore you can use the organiser from
the tools menu to manually copy the views, tables, filters etc to the
new / restoring environment

Hi ST,
you can use the Playbooks from the Project Ressource Kit to Export the
Settings into a XML File and Import them into another Project Server
Environment

Sascha ,

There is a problem with the playbooks and the one thing that is a
problem is that it does not copy the entire ent. global.
