2007 DST Question

I'm working on the fixing the calendar piece of the 2007 DST debacle and have
a quick question. I'm using the Exchange too to fix, rather than having the
users do it. There is a file the gets created called ConflictUsers.txt. I
know it contains users that have conflicting time zones, but my question is,
why do they have conflicting time zones, and what do I have to do to fix it?
Is it as simple as determining which time zone they're supposed to be in and
the moving them to the Mailboxes_1.bat file with the correct info? While
most of the users in there are from the east coast and we're in the midwest
so they're showing central time, our CFO is in there and he's showing GMT and
I can't imagine why. Any help would be GREATly appreciated

The Exchange tool can possibly find 4 time zone info for each user. Like you
say conflict can occur because different time zone info can be detected.

For example:

If the user is in Eastern Time Zone and has a recurring meeting on the
calendar and Exchange tool will detect this and populate the data in the
output file. The same user can have Central Time Zone detected by the tool as
well if your Exchange servers ae centralized in a Central Time Zone location.
When the user log onto the mailbox using OWA for the first time, OWA will
populate the time zone info to match where the Exchange sever is (in this
case Central Time Zone). If the user never change the time zone value in OWA,
you have conflict.

For users who do not have time zone info or conflicting time zone, you have
to find out the actual time zone and input it to the file that is going to be
used by the tool to update the calendar entry (which is Mailboxes_1.bat).
Even though The Exchange tool can up to 4 time zone value for each mailbox
you only want to specify one value to be used when you do the actual update.
