I have a Word 2007 document that contains macros and is stored on a web
server. If a user clicks the link and then open the document (when prompted
to Open or Save), they cannot save it locally. They get an error message
that states, "The save failed due to out of memory or disk space." Then,
after clicking OK, you get an additional error that states, "Word has
insufficient memory. Do you want to save [document] as Rescued Document 1?"
However, if the user clicks the link and chooses the Save option, they have
no problem saving it locally. This is definitely not a space issue, as it
happens on many different computers. I have also verified that Office 2003
users do not have the same problem. My guess is that this has something to
do with the way that Office 2007 is handling Macros, but I can't for the life
of me figure out how to repair it.
Any ideas Office gurus?
