2007 MS Office System vs. MS Office Standard 2007

When looking in the Add/Remove Program area, I noticed I have two programs
that seem similar. One is called "2007 Microsoft Office System" and is 499MB
in size and the other is called "Microsoft Office Standard 2007" and is 507MB
in size.

Just as a point of reference, I was unaware that my system came with MS
Office 2007 pre-installed. It wasn't activated prior to purchase, nor did I
activate it, so I installed the package I purchased. During the installation,
I didn't get any messages indicating I'm duplicating the install.

Do I have two versions loaded on my machine? Any other input is appreciated.

Thank you,

asf

Perhaps you have a trial, if so uninstall it and be prepared to repair your
office installation#
BTW the file sizes given in add/remove cannot be relied on

I unistalled both and re-installed the Office standard I purchased and it
went very smoothly.

Thank you,
