2007 Office Picture manager

J

Jeff

Hi;
Downloaded B2TR; and I switched that nasty blue; to the dark "graphite"
color.
Anyway; all the Office 2007 apps switched; except Office Picture Manager.
It stays that ugly blue. I can't figure out how to get it to be the same
UI color as the rest of the apps in Office 2007.
Is this a bug?
Or; am I missing something here?
Help PLEASE- blue stinks- I love the black ribbon.

Hi Jeff,

Be sure to use the 2007 feedback tool from link #3 below to send your expectations, experiences and problems with MS Office 2007
directly to the MS Office Product team as well as posting here.

MS Office Picture Manager and the non-ribboned apps should follow the desktop themes in Windows.

Patrick;
Lotsa comments there;but did get to the part about color; to me it's a
bug; all the apps should follow your color choice;not just the core ones

Use the tool Bob provided you the link for to send your feedback to
Microsoft. Quite frankly though, I doubt that this will be changed for
RTM.

Hi Jeff,

Another place you may want to also post on this is the blog for the MS Office User Interface team.
http://blogs.msdn.com/jensenh
(some folks had thought that the blog title 'An Office User Interface Blog' - meant it was by 'just an Office user', but it's the MS
Office team <g>)

While the team has been asked the question a number of times over the past year I don't recall seeing an answer on why Office
doesn't have an option to just use the Windows color schemes for the desktop menus et al. (or, why did the team decide Office
needed to be different in the color choices <g>).

I'd have to say making sure the applications actually function
correctly is what they have on their minds at this point. :)
