2007 outlook data file not closed properly

I have read & tried most recommendations posted here:
- disable email virus scanner: AVG gives constant reminders to put it back
- disable add-in's: only ones active are all MS: exchange, groove,
sharepoint, mobile service, OneNote & search email indexer
- disconnected PPC
- verified with task manager that outlook.exe actually is gone (takes a
while after close)

Nothing seems to work reliably.

Are there any new ideas on this issue? It worries me to continually get that
message, thinking at some point the data is going to be corrupted.

Uninstall AVG and reinstall without the email scanning. It will not not
remind you.

- disable add-in's: only ones active are all MS: exchange, groove,
sharepoint, mobile service, OneNote & search email indexer

Try disabling the "search email indexer".
