2007 Server My Task Development wanted

We've succeeded in editing the site setting for My Tasks to display a daily
grid in hours, but my users are bent on having row and column totals display
as well and they want to be able to use the "print" command from the Actions
menu to be able to output these totals as well. I figure now the only option
is to have it customized. Can you tell me what platform(s) and/or what
software developer expertise I need to get in order to have this coded?

I may have the answer but if you can confirm it would be greatly appreciated.

Platform= Sharepoint; ASP.Net
Web Part developement experience is what I am looking for. Right?
