2007 - Workspace permissions synch failures

Hi -

We are having an issue where workspace permissions are synching correctly.

We use active directory to synch users each night - this fails frequently -
then we have issues with permissions.

Any suggetions on a way to bulk synchronize workspaces vs having to go in
and touch each workspace and resynch manually?

Donna,

In PS 2007, your user security will get synchronized each time a security
group or user account is modified. If you want to do a mass update, try
opening up the "Team Members" group for example, adding a single user or
adding a category with no permissions and click save. Check the queue and
it should initiate a synchronization of each user in the Team Members group
with PWA and all the project workspaces. Depending on the number of users
in this group and the number of workspaces, this could take a while to
complete and some of your users will not have access until this is complete.

The order in which this user synchronization job runs is it first removes
all the user's permissions and then starts adding them back in alphabetical
order based on each user's security settings.
